How does Robo Flow work?
Funds are automatically allocated across available loans, without investors selecting individual loans. The product is designed to offer more flexible management of idle capital in the account.
Three strategies in one account
Robo Flow does not replace Robo.cash’s existing strategies. Investors can use Custom, One-Click and Robo Flow simultaneously. According to the announcement, funds can also be moved automatically between portfolios.
What guarantees does Robo.cash state?
According to the product page, Robo Flow is supported by a 30-day Buyback Guarantee and a Group Guarantee. If a loan is overdue for 30 days, the respective loan originator must buy back the claim, including principal and accrued interest.
What does this mean for investors?
Robo Flow adds an option for automated investment of idle funds at a predetermined annual interest rate. Robo.cash presents it as a more liquid option, but this does not, by itself, imply lower credit risk.
Robo Flow can be considered a tool for temporarily investing idle capital. The 6% return should be assessed alongside the risks and exit conditions. Access to the secondary market is not equivalent to guaranteed instant liquidity.
Investor Impact
Flexibility: ↑
The ability to offer loans for sale from day one makes portfolio management more flexible.
Credit risk: remains
The fixed interest rate and contractual guarantees do not eliminate the risk of default.
Important: Fulfilment of the Buyback Guarantee and Group Guarantee depends on the obligated companies’ ability to meet their commitments. P2P investments are not bank deposits and carry a risk of partial or total loss of invested funds.
Impact on P2P Investitor Score
This news alone is not grounds for a Score change. The new portfolio adds a choice of return and liquidity, but does not demonstrate improved financial resilience of the loan originators or the group.
